Food Service Providers
The Community Action Council of Howard County, Inc. (CAC) invites vendors to submit sealed proposals to provide food services for our Early Child Education Centers (that participate in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) CACFP program) during the contract period of October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026.
Please submit two sealed copies of your proposal to the address below:

CAC reserves the right to check all outside references. CAC also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality in bids received. All awards are made pending Maryland State Department of Education review for USDA regulatory compliance.

Weatherization Contractors
The Community Action Council of Howard County (CAC) Weatherization Department seeks qualified contractors to provide weatherization, HVAC services, energy audits, quality control inspections, and electrification services for low-income households under multiple grant-funded programs. This RFP aims to establish a pool of contractors to fulfill work orders during the contract period: February 1, 2025 – December 31, 2028.
CAC encourages applications from minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses. Additional contractors may apply throughout the contract period as needs arise.
