Do you have a scheduled eviction with the Howard County Sheriff’s Office?
Are you receiving any housing subsidy, including but not limited to: Choice Voucher, BRHP, income-based housing, MIHU property, tax credit, etc.?
Are you currently employed?
Is your monthly gross income (income before any taxes are taken out) more than your monthly rent?
Do you owe more than $2000 in back rent?
Do you receive any rental subsidies. (example: HUD, Howard County Voucher, BRHP, Bridges,
Howard County Housing Commission owned properties and any other income-based homes, etc.)

ALL APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE:
RENTAL ASSISTANCE AND EVICTION PREVENTION APPLICANTS MUST ALSO PROVIDE:
If your ledger or court judgment is more than $2000.00 your application for assistance will be denied.
CAC requires at least three (3) full business days to process eviction or first month’s rental assistance applications.
Please plan accordingly to ensure your application is eligible for review.
FIRST MONTH’S RENT APPLICANTS MUST ALSO PROVIDE:
Note, CAC does NOT assist with security deposits.
