Who Qualifies for Weatherization Assistance Programs?

Our Weatherization Services Are Provided at No Cost for Qualified Homeowners and Renters

Income-qualified homeowners and renters can participate in CAC’s home weatherization assistance programs. Our programs are no-cost because of funding from federal, state, and local utility grants. Participants don’t have to pay a penny! Many people in Maryland could use this help, but they don’t know that they qualify.

CAC’s Weatherization Assistance Eligibility

To see if you can get weatherization assistance, you need to check if you meet the program’s income levels. The eligibility levels are different from our other assistance programs, so even if you don’t qualify for those programs, you still may be able to take advantage of this one. Below are the yearly maximum income levels to participate, depending on the number of people in your household:

  • 1 Person Households: $66,250

  • 2 Person Households: $75,750

  • 3 Person Households: $85,200

  • 4 Person Households: $94,650

  • 5 Person Households: $102,250
